The problems that Panchito faced was that He doesn't want to move to Fresno,"The thought of having to move to Fresno and
knowing what was in store for me brought tears to my
eyes."(p.24) he doesn't want to got to school,"Here comes the school bus. Roberto and I ran and
hid in the vineyards."(p.27), and is sad when he has to go back to Mexico, "I saw that everything we owned was
neatly packed in cardboard boxes."(p.31)
