The Parietal Lobe is in the center of the brain. The parietal lobe does information processing function. It also functions speech. The parietal lobe interacts with pain and touch sensation. The Parietal Lobe matures about when you are 18 years old. The parietal Lobe functions cognition. The Parietal Lobe is divided by two functional sides. If you damage the left side of the Parietal Lobe, it would be called "Gerstmann's Syndrome". If you damage the right side of the Parietal Lobe, it would be hard for you to dress and wash yourself. The Parietal Lobe is clos or superior to the occipital lobes and posterior to the center sulcus and frontal lobes. The parietal lobe has an area named as the primary sensory area.
